Data transmission on the internet often has security gaps and your personal data cannot be fully protected against access by third parties. For this reason, we would like to inform you below about the data that is collected and processed from you on our website.

In doing so, we refer to the guidelines of the German Federal Data Protection Act, which covers the communication and information level with regard to data protection.

1. Data transmission/data logging

When you visit our website, data is transmitted. This anonymous data includes technical information such as the browser type and version, the last URL you used to link to us, the IP address of the computer and the file request of the client server, but not personal data. Date and time are also included. All data is used for statistical purposes and will not be passed on to third parties. It is also not passed on to third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes.

2. Use of personal data

If you voluntarily provide us with your personal data, we will process it. The transmission of your data can take place, for example, when you contact us or make an enquiry. You can revoke the use of your personal data at any time by sending an e-mail or fax. In connection with a business transaction, data storage is necessary and cannot be revoked.

The use of your personal data also includes that we do not pass them on to third parties as long as it is not required by law.

3. Security of your data

Your personal data is secured by us under the strictest technical and organisational conditions so that it is protected against access by unauthorised third parties.

4. Changes to this data protection policy

The protection of your personal data is very important to us, so we would like to inform you of any changes to our data protection regulations. You will be able to find out about any updates on our website. We will clearly notify you with a visible notice on our website of any changes that affect the collection, use and/or disclosure of the personal information you provide to us.

You agree to be bound by our privacy policy as set out here. In our contact section you will find all the data you need to contact us in confidence if you have any questions.

5. Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request

This data cannot be assigned to specific persons. This data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of concrete indications of illegal use.

6. Contents from Google

On the basis of our legitimate interests (improvement, analysis or economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Article 6 (1) f. DSGVO), we include content from the provider Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA on our websites.

Privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

The following content may be integrated: fonts (“Google Fonts”), function for recognising bots in contact forms (“Google ReCaptcha”) and maps (“Google Maps”). 9. Objection to advertising e-mails

We hereby object to the use of contact data published within the framework of the imprint obligation to send advertising and information material that has not been expressly requested. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, for example by spam e-mails.

10. Matomo

We use Matomo (formerly Piwik) for web analysis, a service of InnoCraft Ltd, 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand, NZBN 6106769, (“Matomo”). The protection of your data is important to us, which is why we have additionally configured Matomo in such a way that your IP address is only recorded in abbreviated form. We therefore process your personal usage data anonymously. It is not possible for us to draw any conclusions about your person.

Further information on the Matomo terms of use and data protection regulations can be found at:

https://matomo.org/privacy/

As Matomo is hosted via our server, this data never leaves our area of responsibility. This is therefore a much better alternative than tools such as GoogleAnalytics, where the visit statistics are processed externally. IP addresses are anonymised by six digits in our configuration and do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the actual connection.

If you do not want your visits to our websites to be recorded, you can activate the “Do not track” option in your browser and Matomo will not collect any data from you. If you do not wish to be tracked, activate the “Do not track” function in your browser.

You may choose to prevent this website from aggregating and analyzing the actions you take here. Doing so will protect your privacy, but will also prevent the owner from learning from your actions and creating a better experience for you and other users.
